Where to even begin with these two? They are just so darn happy! The kind of happy that makes you break into dance in the middle of a picture and the kind of love that keeps a big smile on your face at all times. It's just too perfect! After you hear their love story, it'll make sense why Tony and Kate are so happy and so in love. They met in middle school and dated briefly in college, but and their lives took them in different directions afterward. Fast forward 16 years to 2017 and here they are - finally engaged! T-minus just 17 days until they tie the knot!

LOVE STORY: We met in August of 1993, when we started the 8th grade. Tony played basketball and football and Kate was a cheerleader. We became good friends very quickly and stayed very close throughout middle and high school. During the fall of our Senior year, we starred opposite each other in our school's musical, called, "Passionella", the third act from the musical, "The Apple Tree" by Bock and Harnick. That spring, we were both elected by our classmates for the Senior Superlative, "Most Spirited".

After graduation, Tony went to UGA, and Kate went to Shorter. Our group of close friends stayed in touch, and Kate spent a lot of time in Athens. During the summer before our Junior year in college, we finally dated for a minute. That winter, Kate moved to New York City. It would be sixteen years before we saw or talked to each other again.

On January 16, 2017, Kate got a Facebook message from Tony. We talked every day for the next ten days, and then decided to meet. On January 26, we met halfway between our residences in Statham and Decatur. As soon as we saw each other, it was clear that those feelings were still there. We closed down the bar and sat in the car talking until 5:00 a.m. The rest is not history, because it's still unfolding...and we're really looking forward to beginning this chapter of our lives...together.
